April 21st is considered Tiradentes day. His name is Joaquim Jose da Silva Xavier, known as Tiradentes, and he was the leader-member of the Brazilian revolutionary movement known as Inconfidencia Mineira. He was born in Minas Gerais but he was executed in Rio de Janeiro.
